a useful question.

Start with the uncertainty that matters to your purchase. Then ask whether the available evidence actually addresses it.

Identify the exact item

Match the listing, color, size and version before looking at any gallery. A similar title or older batch photo is not evidence for your selected option.

Ask one useful question

Decide what you need to see: a size tag, both shoe soles, a jacket measurement or a bag interior. A photo count cannot answer that question.

Read the actual views

If images are available from the service handling the order, inspect the relevant angles and note what is visible, unclear or absent. Catalog photos are not substitutes.

Choose the next action

Continue only if the critical detail is supported. Ask for a clearer view when possible; pause when the option, condition or current price remains uncertain.

A useful photo answers a product-specific question. More near-identical shots do not replace the one view you need.

Down jackets & coats

Look for: Look for front and back views, zipper, seams, size label and a measured chest or length when fit matters.

Cannot prove: Photos cannot establish fill composition, weather resistance or a temperature rating.

Shoes & boots

Look for: Compare both shoes, toe and heel shape, outsole, size tag and an insole measurement when available.

Cannot prove: A sole photo cannot prove comfort, waterproofing or traction in use.

Bags & accessories

Look for: Check the interior, closures, strap attachments, hardware and a scale or measurements for the exact option.

Cannot prove: Appearance does not prove capacity, material composition or long-term durability.

Electronics

Look for: Check the exterior, ports, model label and visible included pieces if the seller provides those views.

Cannot prove: A photo cannot prove power-on, battery health or function. OrientDig says its own electronics inspection does not include a power-on test.

If a real gallery is unclear, OrientDig describes a separate detailed-photo option for specified angles or measurements. Check its current availability and terms directly. Other retailers may have different policies or no comparable service.
